Psychology, I now know, is the male scientific attempt to acquire feminine characteristic. How else can we explain it’s being accepted as a science, this is the uncertainty principle multiplied a thousand times, the uncertainty principle was introduced to secure faith and ignorance but these were asexual principles, for if god has anything to do with faith we know he reproduces himself, and if he has nothing to do with it we know we have to reproduce faith within ourselves; and ignorance is a condition which is exploited by knowledge which could be considered sexual were it not for the fact that science obsesses with sterility. That is with things that have a finality to them. The idea of a unified theory is the most finite concept in the universe. they tell us that probability theory can calculate odds but then they tell us that nature is not the product of a dice game.
Science and scientist do not want to feel insecure, they want to belong to a known world and they do but what we know is so minuscule compared to the monstrosity of what we do not know that scientist end up inhabiting the smallest place of the universe. And they never wonder far from it for they stand on the edge of knowledge to look at the unknown. The laws of nature are not allowed to change and if they do then the theory that explained them was wrong. Scientist need certainty, they need closure, they need to be able to count on something, and when we are talking about life at its fundamental level we have to get sexual in a big way. Science has always been masculine, it is the art of categories, of repeating an event that occurs in natural conditions, it is the goal of science to know and understand the workings of everything and have you ever heard of anything more ridiculous. At some level and for scientist it is a very primitive level, scientist understand that they are missing a key ingredient, determining the working of nature is an observer situation which is why they need to acquire feminine characteristics, for women belong to their world, they are very much a part of nature, of society and of their own selves. Psychology is feminine feeling from a masculine perspective, it is an attempt at intuitive understanding via the male weakness for knowledge.
This is precisely why more psychiatrist are men and more of the patients tend to be women and it is also why psychology would be an easier career path for women. This is science studying the intuitive as an objective observer that may only occasionally engage in sex with its client. Women feel the need for therapy not because they need it but because they have been coerced into demonstrating their emotions by an exhibitionist tendency. And for them it is not as difficult to expose emotions as it is for men, so the psychiatrist still suffers more because he is male, he is scientist and still only a voyager attempting to peek into that feminine wonder.
Science is showing its maturity now by acquiring weakness, a tendency not associated with youth. We have seen her adopt the uncertainty principle, she has let quantum and relativity cohabitate, she has accepted psychology as a legitimate science and now she is getting into chaos which is a way of explaining the order of disorder without appearing ignorant, and at last we have fuzzy logic which allows for variables in the process of discerning. It is the science that measures uncertainty, the science that like chaos and uncertainty is no longer an exact science, we come to grief, science is not perfect anymore, it is now becoming more and more human, which is to say humble, which is also to say that science is about to be replaced! Is science crazy, has she gone mad, what happened to specificity, to certainty, to perfect explanations? I will tell you what happen, reality hit them in the face! Reality is not truth, reality changes and science has never ever studied truth, for to study truth is to first know what the truth is and science still looking for the truth, so what it sees in its empirical studies its reality, the variable and in the heart of the ultimate everything, ultimately inconsequential.
